What if I didn't buy that night, and wanted to think about it. Could I get all of that free stuff, say, 3 weeks later if I decided to buy then? That's the problem with you people. Sell it NOW, sell it TONIGHT, no second chance. |
2. Written by Karl, on 16-10-2009 07:03 That's the other thing..Their LIFETIME warranty is LIMITED..C'mon people..look through the BS
3. Written by Karl, on 16-10-2009 07:01 Don't fall for the gimmicks..The supposed "knife" set..it's a CARVING SET..A frickin knife and a fork..The Americana Shopper? Sure it works..but you'll have to pay for it in the end..But if you really care that much about your water..I'd go with anything OTHER than Rainsoft.. Their techniques are shady and eventually they will go out of business because the DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER..ONLY HOW MUCH MONEY THEY CAN GET OUT OF YOU!!!
4. Written by John, on 23-09-2009 20:01 Let's see. $1000 off, free soap, free installation and free service for one year. That's worth $5000, right? Especially if you use $4000 worth of soap in a year!! No payments for a year? You'll just extend your regret for buying it another year!
5. Written by rainsoft rep in ny, on 20-09-2009 00:14 you people, oh you people. hey mason, yeah i admit rainsoft products are more expensive then the competitors. Let me ask you something though. In 3 years when your culligan system breaks what are you to do then? wait let me answer. nothing your going to have to buy a whole new system at a much higher price because of inflation. when you have a rainsoft system every single solitary part no matter how big or small has a lifetime warranty. NO and i mean NO other company can say the same. Andy p, close but no cigar. Actually proctor and gamble is rainsofts number 1 competitor. as the argument treatment by addition and by subtraction are played into part. oh and last but not least art. Well art couple things wrong here. Our presentation never ever would last 3 hours unless we were writing up paperwork for the system to be put into your home but nice try. our only true competition is what i stated before, proctor and gamble. Also you say tactics. what tactics? we offer you a 1000 discount 1 free move 1 free year installation 1 free year service and a soap package worth almost 5 grand for just signing up that specific night. you wouldnt even have to make a payment for a full YEAR! we are required to always let our bosses know whats going on. About the 1960's thing. yeah we are the oldest and largest water treatment company in america. that says a lot about our company. Oh and when your culligan breaks in 3 years and you have to pay thousands for a new system. give me a call ill sell you a rainsoft system with a LIFETIME warranty.
6. Written by Mason Miles, on 05-09-2009 10:44 Andy P ('man) works for RainSoft. I can tell you that Art P's comments are spot on, and representative of a typical RainSoft sales job. Many dealers try to sell you soap products, knives (no kidding), and other nonsense to soften their killer price tag. You can get a Culligan system for $3,700 - $4,200. RainSoft will cost you $5,200 - $7,000.
7. Written by Consumer Q, on 31-07-2009 15:46 Here's Art, posting the same post over and over on numerous threads. Clearly, Art is a shill for Culligan...and possibly paid to do it.
8. Written by Andy P., on 31-07-2009 15:39 Seems that Art621 is less than honest. Or, perhaps he works for the competition. Culligan is RainSoft's largest competitor; I know what they sell their systems for. Art is being a bit disingenuous with his comments and his information.
9. Written by Art621, on 02-06-2009 15:44 I sat through a 3 hour sales presentation last night with my wife. What a joke. This guy was a preprogrammed robot who knew nothing above and beyond what he was trained to say, and knew nothing about their competition, why they were better, etc. I couldn't believe the tactics he used - buy now and now only to get our special low, low price. When we refused, he "called" his manager on his cell phone, except that his phone actually rang during his "call". These people employ sales tactics from the 1960's. We wound up researching RainSoft of the internet (which is how we got here), educated ourselves, and bought a system from Culligan for half the price.
