I am a former service tech for rainsoft in maryland and I really want to say sorry to everyone out there that has been ripped of by these crooks. I am so glad that I am not working for these people anymore the equipment is junk and will not treat the water here on the shore properly. they don't know there but from a hole the ground and the sales department is a joke and will lie to you and waste your time.I have seen things the past 3 years there that has made my gut turn but could not do anything about it, but now I can by informing the public about the truth. I am going to intoduce a product on the shore that will treat the water here on the shore for fraction of the price. This equipment will sell its self for I will not have to lie to you the consumer. It will be happening soon so keep an eye out for watertech equipment. Again I am very sorry to everyone out there.

Millions of systems out there?

No, there are not millions of RainSoft systems out there. Close, but 1.2 million since 1953 is hardly impressive.

It's not difficult to separate the real concerns from the corporate trolls.

Wow, Millions of systems out there and there is only 19 complaints! That is great.

I have seen the systems and they are what they say they are.

I bought one! Very happy.

Dr. OZ has a show coming up about water, watch and learn

Rainsoft equipment is pure junk. It can't possibly live up to its claims.

My personal experience with the product and the business can only be described as horrendous.

I feel for this man who is merely a concerned individual trying to provide some clean water.

I worked for rainsoft and so did my husband...I think that the rainsoft equiptment is great, I own one myself and love it. But i will have to agree the sales dept and the marketing depts are very pushy and i dont like their tactics on selling this product. Thats why I nor my husband would ever work in those Depts, we were int he Service Dept...Giving customers the best quality service that we could provide. I think that a lot of the owners are shady though and over price the products. My boss would mark prices up 30% or more , drive around in a fancy cars and live the high life, while his employees got paid hardly nothing. No vacation pay, no raises. My husband worked there for 4 years and never once recieved a raise and had to drive this crappy work truck that the door was practically falling off of.... that doesnt look good to the customers when they see a service tech coming in a beater truck. I personally will not order my products from him id much rather go online to the main rainsoft web page, at least i know im not getting ripped off on the price of products... Buy them online then call the service tech to come put them in....if you cant figure it out yourself or arent able to change the filters....way cheaper people.

I stayed there 3 yrs. for a couple of reasons, one being I have three kids to raise and two I thought I could make a difference! There is nothing fishy about what I am tring to do now plan and simple just want to give people what they deserve. But thank you for your comment.

If the company lied and was unethical in it's practices and you knew than why did you stay there 3 yrs? Now you expect us to believe you and your new company? Sounds fishy?
