The system has caused the water smell horrible. Our children refused to brush their teeth with "that yucky water". We clean and clean and the odor in our home has made us just sick with disgust.
The service reps. have come out time and again and no one can fix the problem. It is upsetting and frustrating. We are treated like people without rights, who don't matter.
Rain Soft is just very, very disappointing tp us.

| 4. Written by Christine, on 03-05-2008 16:53 I too am a Rainsoft (victim) oops, I mean customer. I bought a sulfer/iron-free machine in April 2007, After a week it quit working. I had ten service calls and ended up spending an additional $1000. to re-bed my softener, because of the chemicals that the servicemen put in my softener brine. SO, luckily I paid for the machine with a credit card, so I disputed it with my credit card company. After a year about 10 letters, water testing from other companies and photos of my toilets, sinks and tubs, I WON! The credit card company gave me back my money and told me to send them a "letter of intent". I requested removal of the machine and gave them a deadline. I have never heard from them again. The machine is still in my basement and still not giving me clean water. However, I do have my $3,800.00 back. |
